“Can it clean my shop window in 30 seconds?”

Of course not! The only way to get this done was to speed things up a little on the video. Don’t blink or you might miss them crawling all over the windows. But any deadline can be met with time-lapse photography!

If anyone in the Sydney area would like to see our Gecko or Glider window cleaners at work, just arrange a FORM + DESIGN window cleaning demo at the shop. Their shop is located in St. Leonards, on the lower north shore of Sydney.

Why did we attempt the challenge?

We went past FORM + DESIGN in St. Leonards, Sydney, and we really liked their shop. But the windows needed a good clean, inside and out.

The folks there were a little skeptical at first. Their shop window is so big, and our Gecko and Glider window cleaners are so small! Never mind, we and they were up for a challenge.

The windows hadn’t been done for a while so there was a good amount of traffic dirt on the outside, and that film you get on the interior with air-conditioning.

We set the devices going both inside and out to get the job done. Because it was a long time since the last clean, the cloths/pads got dirty quickly, and had to be changed over before the whole window was finished. But this was a sign that the devices were working well, removing the grime from the surface of the windows.

It took a while, but the FORM + DESIGN people were so impressed, and they are not easy people to please – their standards are pretty high!  They liked our clever cleaners so much that the decided to offer them to their community of customers
