What is the Wombat Joey Mower Blade Rotor Assembly?
The Wombat Joey Mower Blade Rotor Assembly fits the RobotZoo Wombat Joey or Wombat Joey II lawn mowers. It comprises the blade rotor, and three cutting blades already installed on the rotor, ready to go. The assembly is connected to the cutting motor underneath the mower, by three Phillips Head screws. For convenience, all you need to do is unscrew the original assembly and then install the new assembly. This avoids you having to remove the individual cutting blades, which can in some circumstances be difficult if the Phillips Head nuts that hold them on can become abraded by contact with rocks, concrete or other hard surfaces.
It is recommended that the cutting blades be checked regularly, at least each season. And they should be replaced say every year with new, sharp cutting blades that will make the mower cut the grass cleanly and neatly.
