Rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries.

Our Floor Cleaners are internally battery driven, powered by rechargeable lithium ion battery packs.
The battery pack is a very important component for the floor vac.
And many people do not realise how important it is to have a device where you can source a replacement battery.
Everybody knows that lithium ion batteries need to be well cared for, but not everybody knows why.
It’s because the battery packs are made up of individual cells that are wired in series and parallel.
And the loss or permanent damage of any one cell will reduce the overall power available from the pack by the amount of that cell.
There is no ‘balancing out’ of maximum power when it comes to battery packs.

  

Power adapters, cables and charging stations.

The charging stations for floor vacs are not just a dumb connecting point for the device.
They contain important electronics, to allow the floor cleaner to find its way back to the station, and dock properly.
The charging station also needs to retain good clean charging contacts, so as to allow the floor cleaner to recharge properly.

  

Whisker Brushes and Roller Brushes.

These consumable items are at the dirty end of the cleaning job.
They need to be maintained, and cleaned regularly.
Anybody who owns a floor vac knows this.
Sometimes, these consumables get dirty beyond salvation, and need to be thrown out and replaced with new ones.
That’s why it’s impoertant to get your floor vac from somebody who can supply spare consumable items.

  

Cleaning / Mopping Cloths and Filters.

These are also consumable items at the dirty end of the cleaning job.
But these cloths are microfiber. They can be put in the wash with your dirty rags and other cleaning cloths.
Usually they will clean up well, unless you they have picked up some stubborn stains from the floor.

  

Other Parts that need Replacement.

It’s not always possible to predict which spare parts you may need for your floor cleaner.
But if you source your floor cleaner form a supplier that doesn’t carry a range of spares, you may have to do without, or buy a new one.
