What is the Pool Cleaner Watertight Shell?
The Pool Cleaner Watertight Shell is made for the robotzoo Blue Swimmer II pool cleaners.
It is the compartment that holds the internal electrical components (motors, main board; indicator board, battery, etc.).
Replacement of the watertight shell may become necessary if the charging pins on top of the shell are broken due to misuse.
It is very important to ensure that the charging pins are completely dry and free of moisture before the device is recharged.
Failure to observe this point will constitute misuse, and any resulting damage will be an exception to warranty conditions.
That is because the combination of copper electrodes (eg. the pins), and electric current (ie. the charge), and an ionic solution (ie. poolwater) is a recipe for electrolysis.
Electrolysis will act to dissolve the copper on the charging points into solution, where it will appear as a blue-green powder (copper oxide) once the solution dries.
If the device is ensured to be dry each time it is put on charge, then this should not occur
