Downloading the App

The app is available for Apple IOS. Get it from the App store:

Go to the App store on your phone, and search Wybot.
The search result is shown as pictured at right.
Download the app onto your phone.

Opening the App

The app requires 2.5g WiFi to be enabled on your phone for updates.

Also make sure that bluetooth is enabled on your phone.

When the app is opened, your phone should show this screen.

To connect your device to the app, perforn the following steps:

Switch on the device using the blue button on top.
(the indicator light on the device should shine blue)
Add the device by pressing the plus icon.
(the indicator light on the device will turn purple)

Note that first time connection to the device may be tempramental. Often you may get a message saying the device is offline.

This is because the smartphone bluetooth and the device bluetooth are having trouble with ‘handshaking’. First time connection can take a while.

If this happens, try to resolve by turning bluetooth on and off, and turning WiFi on and off on your phone.

My Pool – Configuring Your Pool Type

The My Pool menu option at the top of the main page leads to configuration options for the pool:

Pool Shape and Size: Determine the default shape of the pool.
- Rectangle
- Freeform
- Oval & Round

Bottom Slope: Determine the default features of the pool floor.
- Flat
- Deep Flat
- Standard Hopper Bottom

Pool Material: Determine the default surface of the pool.
- Gunite (ie. Pebble or Quartz)
- Tile
- Vinyl
- Fiberglass

Cleaning Modes

When the device is connected to the App, your phone should show a screen like this. The screen shows the device, indicators that it is online, and that bluetooth is active.

At the bottom of the screen is shown the cleaning modes. They are:

Floor only cleaning mode;
Wall only cleaning mode;
Wall cleaning then floor cleaning;
Standard cleaning mode (wall & floor).

Select the default cleaning mode you want your device to perform.

From this screen you can also progress to the ‘Expert Mode’ Screens.

Expert Mode

Above the Cleaning Modes icons is the Expert Mode menu option.

Expert mode allows the user to program the cleaning pattern taken.

Floor cleaning Patterns:
- Star Pattern
- Cross Pattern
- S pattern
Wall cleaning Patterns:
- N Pattern
- Z pattern
